Eight Nordheim athletes qualify for Area at district track meet

It has been a memorable track season for both the boys and girls of Nordheim. So far this season three athletes have broken and set new school records; Ryan Schuenemann (40-11) in the shot put, Emagen Styra (37-9) in the shot put, and Braylon Williams (22.87) in the 200-meter dash. This past Friday, Nordheim traveled to Runge to compete in the District 30-1A meet. The first four places qualify for the Area meet that will be held April 20 in Fayetteville.

A total of eight Nordheim athletes across 13 different events went on to qualify for the Area meet. The athletes are: Braylon Williams, Ariyana Blackwell, Abby Klein, Tristan Infante, Emagen Styra, Danielle Wilson, Jaiden Garcia and Ryan Schuenemann. The District meet results are listed below.

Varsity boys
