Heading into his first season at the helm of the Cuero boys basketball program, Michael Blank is confident they can build upon the last several seasons. Blank is the fifth coach to lead Gobbler basketball in the last five seasons, but even with that fact and the difficulties of working through a pandemic, there is still much to look forward to in this season now underway.

“It’s going to be a real learning experience for both the kids and myself,” Blank said. “With the issue of Covid looming around us, everyday is going to be a new day. I hope we can install our things in a timely manner and with everyone present and accounted for.”
