In their last tune-up before the district meet the Cuero varsity boys and girls track teams traveled to Nixon-Smiley on Thursday, March 31, to compete in Mustang Relays. Having much success, the boys and girls would both take home first place.

The boys finished with a total of 154 points, with Stockdale coming in second with 118 points. The girls won the meet netting 137.5 points, while Smithville finished second with 130.5 points.

The boys relay teams continue to show their strength and would end up sweeping the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 meter relays at Mustang Relays. The girls relays look strong as well, taking home first in the 4x100 and 4x200 meter relay.
