On Friday, Oct 29 the Wildcats will travel to Louise to face off against the Hornets. This match-up should be exciting as both teams only have one district loss to undefeated Falls City. These two teams have played head to head 7 times with the winning record in Yorktown’s favor, 5-2. Last year’s game ended in a Yorktown victory, 35-14.

Louise has a 7-3 overall record and a 5-1 district record.  In preseason, they defeated Bloomington and High Island while taking losses to Danbury and Sacred Heart. In district play, they defeated Pettus (42-0), Woodsboro (29-6), Agua Dulce (38-6), and Runge (42-0). The Hornets have plenty of experience returning from last year's squad. This year’s team includes nine offensive and 10 defensive starters from last season's group that were Bi-District qualifiers. They will rely on guards Goana and Vasquez to open up holes for running back Yeager. He contributed 374 yards and four rushing touchdowns last year.
