Yorktown golf places first in Karnes County Tournament

The Wildcat golf team consists of Drew Alexander, Cameron Willis, Hagen Newman, Konnor Sullivan, and Dalton Eckhardt. They earned first place in the Karnes County tournament at River Bend golf course in Floresville, Texas on Thursday, March 17. Alexander was a silver medalist finishing second overall, missing first by just two strokes. Willis received a bronze medal, placing third right behind Alexander. Earlier in the week, Alexander won the Shiner St Paul tournament held at Independence Park in Gonzales, Texas. He was able to defeat his nearest opponent by six strokes in a field of 35 golfers.
