Today, the UIL has officially released the new district realignments. The Cuero Gobblers will remain in 4A Division II for the 2022-2024 football seasons.
The Yorktown Kitty Kat girls basketball team split their district games this week, losing to Three Rivers on Tuesday, Jan. 25, and defeating Pettus on Friday, Jan. 29.
Friday, Jan. 28, the Wildcat Basketball Team traveled to Pettus to face off with the Eagles in district play. It would be a dominating win for the Wildcats, 67-37.

Tuesday, Jan. 18, the Wildcats captured a big win against the Refugio Bobcats at home. The Wildcats were scoring from long distances as they made 13 three-pointers over the course of the game.
The Yorktown Kitty Kats, currently ranked 24th in the TABC Class 2A state polls, picked up two district wins this week against Refugio and Kenedy to remain undefeated in District 31-2A play.
