Frank Allen Rogge
San Angelo - Frank Allen Rogge, 84, died July 10, 2024. He was born in Runge, Texas, on March 11, 1940, to Ed and Elsa Wunderlich Rogge and grew up on the family farm on the banks of the San Antonio River. He was baptized and confirmed at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and attended Buesing, Nordheim and Runge High School. After graduation he volunteered in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany at the time of the Berlin Wall crisis in 1961 where he was on the front line along with his two brothers who were stationed in the area as well. He returned home and was employed in the oilfields in Karnes County after which he moved to San Angelo to work for St. John’s Hospital, but his longtime employment was with MHMR from which he retired. He pursued studies to become a Mason in 1968 and achieved 32nd Degree. He had many interests and enjoyed restoring a 1967 Dodge D-100 sidestep pickup. He overcame many major health issues with persistence and optimism for a number of years before his departure. 07/16/2024 01:30 PM

Ernest James “Pete” Parma, 84, of Cuero passed away Monday, June 24, 2024 after a short battle with cancer. He was born December 30, 1939 in Cuero to Benjamin “Ben” John Sr. and Emelia Zielonka Parma. He was a farmer and rancher his whole life. Raymond Adolph Faltesek
Raymond Adolph Faltesek, 92, of Cuero passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born May 26, 1932, in Port Lavaca to Adolph George and Agnes Frances Pecena Faltesek. He married Oretha Grace Gottschalt on November 14, 1954, at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Cuero. Raymond was a skilled welder and retired from Victoria Machine Works after working there for thirty-five years. He served as a volunteer fireman for Cuero Volunteer Fire Department for thirty-five years. In his free time, he enjoyed working on lawn mowers, hunting, fishing and cooking BBQ. His best memories and time spent were with his family making deer sausage and going on vacations to the coast. He treasured being a dad, grandpa and great grandpa. Doris Marie White, 93, of Cuero passed away Sunday, June 30, 2024. She was born October 20, 1930, in Cuero to the late Ned Givens Thigpen and Viola Vienna Simon Thigpen. She married the love of her life, Odell White Sr. on February 19, 1950, in Cuero. Doris was a wonderful wife and mother who raised five children. She enjoyed gardening which showed through her beautiful flower beds and bountiful vegetable garden. She enjoyed cooking and baking and always had enough for family and friends. She also had a passion for sewing, making beautiful quilts and learned the tedious needle point called Brazilian embroidery. She loved reading and made weekly trips to the Cuero Library, but her most favorite book was her Bible. 07/02/2024 01:13 PM
