This will be a weekend of fun and exciting events for both adults and children. What started with a few people wanting to recognize this historic date has turned into a festival that they hope can be continued. Committee Members are Connie Hall, Mary Ann Kenne, Amy Lamprecht, Heather Menn, Lorene Migura, Katie Newman, Malaria Rodriquez and Peggy Savage. Committee member Peggy Savage said,”We originally wanted to start a small springtime festival for the community. Since this year was the town’s 175 anniversary we decided to celebrate it. The idea has been very well received and if the festival is a success, we hope to turn it into an annual event with each year maybe having a different theme.”
