Anna Louise Sinast Borth was born in Yorktown Texas on February 14th, 1932, to Werner and Alfreda Sauermilch Sinast. She was the oldest of five children. In 1939 she met the boy who would later become the love of her life, when Warner Lee Borth moved with his family from Weesatche to Yorktown. They were in fourth grade and would continue and finish out their school years together. They started dating in their senior year and graduated from Yorktown High School in 1950. Anna and Warner married on April 19, 1953, at St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Anna began working at the telephone company as a telephone operator in 1950 and worked there until the phone company went to dial tone in 1959. In 1955 they had a daughter, Bonnie Sue. Five years later in 1960, they had a son Darryl Jon. Anna was an avid member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church participating in many church circles and playing the piano and organ at the church services. She especially loved to play the piano at the Monday morning service. Anna loved to bowl and played on several bowling teams in Victoria that went to many tournaments including the state tournament.

Anna has two granddaughters that she loved taking care of. She would play hide and seek, softball, easter egg hunting, and many other games with them. She would also play the piano and tried to pass on her ability to play. Anna has two great grandchildren who loved riding on her walker chair as she would push them along.

Anna is survived by her husband of 70 years, Warner Borth, daughter Bonnie and son in law James Kaiser, son Darryl Borth, granddaughter Brianne Kaiser-Billings and grandson in law Scott Billings, great grandchildren Brinnlee and Bryce Kaiser- Billings, sisters Elaine Frisbie, Katherine Mueller, and Linda Robinson, sister in law Judy Sinast, 10 nieces and nephews and their spouses, 16 great nieces and nephews and their spouses, 4 step nieces and nephews, and 4 great-great nieces.

Anna is preceded in death by her mother and father, Alfreda and Werner Sinast, granddaughters Jenna Dale Kaiser and Baby Girl Kaiser, brother Melvin Sinast, and brothers in law, Parker Frisbie, Kenneth Mueller, Joe Robinson, sister in law and brother in law Elizabeth and Edward Hardt, and niece Billie Coker.

Pallbearers will be Scott Billings, Ty Sinast, Dylan Sinast, Bill Frisbie, Bobby Strieber, and James Dueser.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Brinnlee and Bryce Kaiser-Billings, and all nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 29, 2023, at St. Paul Lutheran Church from 0930-1030 am and funeral service at 1030 am, with burial following the funeral service at St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery.

Memorials may be made in Anna’s honor to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Yorktown EMS, or a recipient of your choice.
