Unbreakable Wildcat Defense Secures Double Overtime Win

Body
TheYorktownfootball team opened district play at home against the Somerville Yeguas. In Texas, football is king, and to some there is nothing better than high school football and what is described as “Friday Night Lights.” This matchup would not disappoint fans and had this been a movie a better storyline could not have been written. One could call it a fairytale ending. It was the first district game, the Wildcats were out for redemption after falling short to the Yeguas last season, the team is under new direction and ready to prove their identity, it was Homecoming, and it ended in a come from behind thrilling double overtime win for the Yorktown squad. To sum it up, it was a great day to be a Wildcat!
