The Cuero Record Devotional Page

Body
By GARY ANDREWS gary@gadevotionals.com I marvel at the colors in the rainbow when I see one going across the sky. God’s beauty of these colors cannot be duplicated even though many have tried.

Come meet the PUPPIES this Saturday

Body
Pet Adoptions of Cuero will be on hand this Saturday, September 16 from 9-1 PM at the Cuero Tractor Supply Store on Highway 87 with puppies galore and more. The store is hosting a special adoption event to showcase the many pets that are hoping to find their forever homes. The local non profit shelter has 3 different sets of new puppies that will be represented. There are small, medium and large breeds in the litters and they are all vetted to date. All PAOC adoptions include spay/ neuter and microchip at maturity. This is a wonderful time to add a new fur baby to the family. The Pet Adoptions of Cuero shelter is open 7 days a week and there are dozens more dogs – young, mature, senior, small, medium, large to choose from, so it is worth a visit to 407 US Highway 183 South to see the biggest ever selection of adoptable pets. Also don’t forget the City of Cuero Animal Shelter on Highway 766 – just past the prison where more canines are available for adoption. PAOC’s Linda Anzaldua is hoping everyone can see how having a family pet is a rewarding experience for the whole family – exercise, responsibility, and companionship – make this a win-win Fall for all the Dewitt County homeless furbabies.

Seeing the beauty of the rainbow

Body
I marvel at the colors in the rainbow when I see one going across the sky. God’s beauty of these colors cannot be duplicated even though many have tried. There is something majestic about the arch of brilliant colors streaming across the sky. Many, as I do, find it worth looking at a rainbow because of its beauty. Also, if anyone has ever seen the end of the rainbow please let me know and if there was for sure a pot of gold there.
