Yorktown EMS, CRH help with snakebite
Dear Editor, My mother was recently bitten by a rattlesnake at her place in the country. She was transferred by Yorktown EMS to Cuero Regional Hospital. The care we received at Cuero Regional was excellent! All the nursing staff went above and beyond to ensure her comfort and well-being. We could not have asked for better care than what she received. Dr. Helfrich took care of her in the Emergency Room and Dr. Lemley took care of her during her hospital stay. Both doctors were extremely caring and compassionate. They saved my mother's life! Dr. Lemley would take extra time to visit with her which made her feel so much better. All aspects of her stay were such a good experience. Thank you to all for your compassionate, loving care. 05/20/2025 03:01 PM

Pet Adoptions of Cuero has a new roster of mini-pets! The sweet, petite, neat small breed canines are definitely a favorite pet choice for apartment dwellers and senior citizens. The chihuahua's will always be a small dog, a cuddly dog, and the kind who favors a warm lap for a nap every day of the year. 05/20/2025 03:01 PM
