David H. Burrow entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 10 after a life full of love, laughter, adventure, family, fellowship, and guidance at age 86. He was born in Sweetwater, Texas on Sept. 12, 1936. He graduated from Sweetwater High School in 1954 and received his BS, magna cum laude from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas in 1958. He received his LLB from The University of Texas School of Law in 1961 which was later changed to a JD by the University of Texas.

Ann (Sturm) Neslony, 97, of Sugar Land, passed away peacefully in her home on March 15, 2023. Ann Louise Sturm was born on February 22, 1926, to Meta and Ernest Sturm in Cuero, and was the oldest of 9 children.

Jose Luis Garcia, 62, of Cuero, TX went home to the Lord on March 15, 2023. He was born in Alice, TX to his father, the late Luis Garcia and his mother, Esperanza (Hope) Lucas, of Cuero, Tx on September 19, 1960.

Clifton Frank Boerm, age 90, passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his family on March 4, 2023. He was born on August 8, 1932 in Nordheim, Tx to Frank A. and Bertha Boerm. He was baptized on January 26, 1933 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim, TX. He moved to Yorktown, TX with his family when he was in the 2nd grade where he began attending Yorktown schools. While he was in high school, he got his first job at the local Piggly Wiggly grocery store as a bag boy. He graduated from Yorktown High School in 1950, and immediately after getting his diploma, he began working in the oilfield industry.

Peggy’s long, hard fought battle with cancer ended on March 7, 2023 with the help of God. She endured the tough lengthy battle through perseverance and faith. She fought bravely and courageously as long as she could.

Julio “Jules” Webb Longoria, Jr., age 94, of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, surrounded by his loving children. He was born in Cuero on Wednesday, July 11, 1928, to the late Julio and Heladia Longoria. He was married to his soulmate, Ida Reyna Longoria, for 64 years. He is preceded in death by Ida and his parents.
