As we celebrate Easter this year, we need to keep in mind what this holiday is all about. I know many in the secular world probably understand that this is a religious holiday, but they use it as a time to promote the Easter Bunny and other commercial items. Our children are looking for Easter Baskets stuffed with candy eggs, chocolate bunnies, jellybeans, and other gifts. It is a great season for our merchants and people love this holiday however I really wonder if they understand the gift that was truly given to us on that Friday many years ago. 04/30/2025 11:56 AM

FES students see career opportunities on wheels
On April 24th, French Elementary School transformed into a vibrant showcase of career possibilities during its annual Career Day Parade. Students eagerly waved their hands in excitement as they explored an array of vehicles parked on the school grounds, each representing a unique profession. The cheerful melodies of the school band filled the air, creating an uplifting atmosphere as enormous tractors rumbled by, followed closely by gleaming boats and towering lift trucks. The parade of vehicles included bright fire trucks, ambulances, patrol cars, a charming Chamber of Commerce jeep, cattle trailers, and thrilling motorcycles, among many others. The event was not only an exciting spectacle but also an invaluable opportunity for young minds to envision their future. 04/30/2025 11:56 AM
