Fifteen area troops participated, representing different countries with facts about climate, food, history, and what makes them unique. Yorktown’s Troop 9405 represented Denmark with a display of interesting facts, pictures, and food, making Frikadellar, Danish Meatballs for everyone to try. FES students see career opportunities on wheels
On April 24th, French Elementary School transformed into a vibrant showcase of career possibilities during its annual Career Day Parade. Students eagerly waved their hands in excitement as they explored an array of vehicles parked on the school grounds, each representing a unique profession. The cheerful melodies of the school band filled the air, creating an uplifting atmosphere as enormous tractors rumbled by, followed closely by gleaming boats and towering lift trucks. The parade of vehicles included bright fire trucks, ambulances, patrol cars, a charming Chamber of Commerce jeep, cattle trailers, and thrilling motorcycles, among many others.
