Hunt elementary students know the meaning of Thanksgiving
It was a wonderful surprise for the crew at Pet Adoptions of Cuero this month when the Hunt Elementary Student Council decided to share, care and help out the local pet shelter. The student group sponsored a pet food and shelter 'needs' drive to benefit the local non profit organization. Over 100 items were collected and the PAOC staff was delighted with the variety of donated necessities that they need and use every day to feed, clean and care for the homeless dogs and cats. Many of the students are pet owners or have adopted from Pet Adoptions of Cuero. It was easy for them to choose the best items to donate. PAOC wants to thank the students, their parents and their teachers for this much appreciated support for the shelter.
