Hello All Congratulations to Councilman-at-Large Adam Arroyo on his re-election. I look forward to continuing our work together. Congratulations are in order for Mr. Charles Tounley, who was elected as Councilman- at-Large, filling the vacancy by Councilman Bill Matthy’s, who decided not to run for another term. Bill served the Citizens of Cuero for 17 years, the City of Cuero owes Bill a huge debt of gratitude. I personally am going to miss his wit and wisdom. He served as Mayor Pro Tem for 14 years under 3 successive Mayors. Within the last year the Council has/will lose 31 years of historical experience with the departure of past Mayor Sarah Post Meyer, who served for 14 years and Councilman Matthy’s with 17 years. Time goes on, I am proud of the current council make up and look forward to working with our newest Councilmen. Both Councilmen Arroyo and Tounley will be sworn in at the regular council meeting on May 12, 2025. 05/07/2025 11:28 AM
