Ranching museum receives LCRA grant
The Chisholm Trail Heritage Museum soon will renovate the exteriors of the historic Trautwein and Cook & Day Motor Co. buildings in downtown Cuero, an important step as the museum works to expand its space into the two adjacent structures, thanks to a $50,000 grant from the Lower Colorado River Authority and the City of Cuero. 12/10/2024 04:06 PM

Tuesday (12/10) will see meeting #3 of the Mayor’s Youth Council and a get together event for Key City officials and the Auditors conducting the Stevenson Unit ACA accreditation audit. On Wednesday (12/11) I will be delivering welcome remarks to Cuero for attendees of a Foster Parent event at the Chisholm Trail Heritage museum. On Thursday evening (12/12) the City of Cuero Christmas and appreciation event will take place, and of course on Friday and Saturday, (12/13-14) Christmas Downtown will be in full swing. Buck stops at Sheriff’s door for no-show charge

The Yorktown City Council discussed the cleanup of two properties with landowners who attended the November 25 regular meeting. The long-awaited re-routing of FM 240 away from the Westhoff school campus has officially begun. Officials used shovels, signed by students, to break ground on November 25 at the new location.
