Willis shot a 75, navigating the course with precision, hitting accurate drives and sinking crucial putts. His ability to maintain focus under pressure bodes well for his progress in upcoming STPGA Jr tournaments, as well as in the upcoming YISD golf team season.

Gonzales family legacy inked in community
In the 1960s, news poured out of the Cuero Record newspaper’s front door, and lead exhaust spewed out of the pipes from the upstairs press room where Alfonso Gonzales ran the printing presses. Gerard Gonzales carries fond memories of his father, Alfonso, and walking home from St. Michael’s School with sisters Linda and Yvonne.

Still 'SNOW-ing' at Pet Adoptions of Cuero
It sure was fun to see snow in parts of Dewitt County last week, and it was also amazing that a new canine coincidentally arrived at Pet Adoptions of Cuero. This beauty looked like 'snow,' she was fluffy like 'snow,' and her microchipped registered name just happens to be SNOW! But there is nothing cold about this SNOW. She is a 1 year old pure white husky mix, up to date on shots, spayed and has had some training. But we do know if you are feeling the freezing temps in the area, she would be the perfect cuddle snow bunny. This is one SNOW that will melt your heart.
