The adventure of screaming girls one to remember
GOD first...Heavenly Father, love is not easy. To love someone as we love ourselves, Lord, we fail You and one another. Help us Lord to forgive someone, even though we are challenged by their attitude toward us, be it a stranger, family, ourself, or someone we meet. Even as we struggle to love others, we receive the greatest love of all, Your Amazing Grace. We ask in the name of the one who sacrificed his life for our forgiveness, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Meyersville School hosts Pet Adoptions of Cuero
The Pet Adoptions of Cuero team was invited to the Meyersville school this past week as a part of their Red Ribbon Week program. This special week is dedicated each year to educating everyone on making positive healthy choices and living drug free. The students enjoyed playing with and meeting some of the shelter dogs - GINO and PRINCE CHARMING and 2 new kittens - HUGS and KISSES. PAOC was able to interact with the children, advising them that having a pet requires lots of responsibility. It is definitely a 'healthy choice' to care for, train, feed, clean and physically walking and/or playing with a dog or cat each day. Pets are also great therapy. The duties required in pet ownership occupies lots of time and energy. It's the perfect way to be kind to your mind by living a drug free but 'pet ownership' lifestyle. It's a win-win for the pet and the pet parent. So many of the Meyersville students are already dedicated pet owners. The afternoon visit to the school with the homeless pets hopefully encourages more families to adopt a canine or feline in the near future.
