Volunteers spruce up trees before Turkeyfest
On Saturday, October 5th, the Tree Board of Cuero organized a work day in the park to mulch the trees, prior to Turkeyfest. Young Gobblers volunteered their time and strength to help spread mulch around trees. A special thank you to Allan Hartman for providing and operating the tractor equipment. The job couldn’t have been done without the tractor equipment. Tree Board members, Bill Hickey and Tamara Kainer shared education with the volunteers on the benefits mulch provides to the trees. Mulch provides not only protection of the roots, but also nutrients and a moisture barrier. 10/15/2024 02:48 PM

As a Born-Again Christian I truly understand these statements and find them to be one of the truest sayings that I have ever read. 10/15/2024 02:48 PM
